Local guide program has turn me to celebrity among my people, I do work on Google map before I was introduce to local guide, because, am into GPS and car tracker installation and also navigation since Google map is what we use to interpret coordinate that will generated from GPS, so working with Google map is everyday things
But since I had joined local guide program, am now a king marker in Google map because some of my friend do ask me series of question like
How do you know this place?
Who are the people asking questions on anywhere you go?
How do you create this place on map?
How can I join too?
All my answer to them is that am part of Google local guide, but still they don’t understand. To the extent that am now part of spy for police in my area, anytime they want to track their suspect, they have to call me for better understanding of that place.am now spy for all law enforcement agent all because of local guide, because they know that I can create a place even link them also
A lot of people under grow training of how to contribute their own quota to Google map, because they see me doing it and help other get what they want and I can boldly say I have training people on how to contribute their own quota to Google map
Friends and university student enjoy coming around even their lecturer want their student to come to my place for industrial attachment (IT) and internship my recent contribution about solid worth hotel located at ASA Dam Ilorin about the swimming pool and lack of parking space at Oja tuntun baboko area of Ilorin and many of my contribution also make me feel on top of the world that Google local guild team appreciate we local guide too. Thanks for the opportunity you people gave us.
