Hi everybody,
My name is Thai, from Hanoi Vietnam, Local guide level 10. Since childhood, I have always been interested in traveling and exploring the mysteries around the world. For me, discovering the mysteries of nature and history has always been a fascinating and interesting challenge. One of the important travel companions are maps and later maps applications. I realize that Google’s applications are great compared to similar applications because it has a lot of utility and friendliness. So for more than 6 years I have been using Google Maps on every trip and it has been really helpful to explore strange and desolate places. Landscape photography is my passion, so with the Local Guide I had the opportunity to share over 20,000 photos, taken in over 40 countries with hundreds of attractive destinations. I am really happy to hear that there have been more than a million views and interesting comments. I find my work meaningful when it interests many people.
In addition, as a Local Guide, I also help a few businesses sign up on Google Maps as well as write reviews that help inform the people who care.
I see that now with the Local Guide, Google has built a highly social forum and it is not only a normal navigation application but also allows its members to connect and share a lot of information that reflects every aspect of society from dining, entertainment to business and tourism. I am very proud to be a part of the Local Guide and look forward to making a lot of contributions in the future, as well as introducing my family and friends to join this program.

Hi @Thai_Ngh , since there’s still time for the application, I really suggest you to read carefully at this Guideline again of how to make a good application post, which the post must be 300 words minimum and it should be under “Local Stories” topic. Wish you luck!

@Thai_Ngh I still see this post in “Travel” topic, or did you write another one? But still, if you need to change the topic for this post, you could tag a Google Moderator to help you with that, because editing your post could make it automatically marked as spam.

You can edit it by clicking on the three dots at the left corner of the post and remove Travel and click Local Stories.
However @Meooluooi thank you for helping out, you are doing well on connect.
