What does Local Guide program mean to me?

Hi guys,

My name is Preoteasa-Nagy Istvan Mihaly, yeah I know pretty long name, but as my other colleauges from different countries didn’t know how to pronnounce it, we went on with Steve.

So I am Steve, and I was travelling a lot within the businesses I was working in and in the free time I used Google Maps and local guides to search for places to visit. I understood that moment that a lot of people put on a huge effort in creating this program and I felt the need to also give back help that I received.
That is why I decided to join this program and now I am a level 6 Guide and hope to be able to help out more and more in the future.

And as I am quite often on the road, perhaps I’ll be able to help out more and more from different places and countries.
