As a local guide I help people about places and get reviews even if good or bad a some places that I stay. I giving them a good idea to think about the places before they try or visits the places. Most of the time if I write a reviews bad or goods reviews some hotels and resorts are responded to your comments about your stay and they can help to maintain about the bad reviews.
