Well, helping other people, knowing my city well, making new friends.
Local guide program is an exciting program for me. Since I got involved in this program, 2 years ago I found out many interesting things in this program.
Our city, Kabul is a city with 70% informal and unplanned areas. I usually use google map for getting directions wherever I go. I saw many people uploaded useless pictures and reviews about places. So, I wanted to help others for easily finding adresses. Furthermore, I am an urban planner and one of my interests is visiting new places and knowing my city well. As a result google maps and local guides helped me alot.
Furthermore, I uploaded many photos from different perspectives of places which I visited. Whenever I recieve an Email from google map telling me that my photos are making changes and they have about thousands of views so it makes me very excited and happy. As well as giving me enthusiasm to work and learn more in this area.
