So, I’ve been a Local Guide for some years now, and it never ceases to amaze me how big and how powerful this community is. Everywhere I go, I try to contribute, to help, to share with everyone my knowledge the best way I can.
I live in Barcelona, Spain, so there are hundreds of places yet to be, and the fact that I will be able to share them with as much people as possible is exciting, to say the least.
Not going to lie, I LOVE taking photos, because I enjoy seeing good content from other people everywhere I go. From a restaurant in a village, to a hotel in a big city, one can always learn something from the Local Guide Community. And if I am going to answer to question straight up, it would be: being a Local Guide means that I have a responsability and power to share with others, to inform, to make objective observations, whether a place is good or not. It’s in our hands to deliver good points and objections to those who seek information, because they trust us. There may be people who don’t know what a Local Guide is, but we have to try to be as helpful as possible.
I will continue to do my best, to add as many places as possible and to be as objective as possible, because that’s what Local Guide is meant to be.
