Hi everyone! What I like sharing the most on Google Maps is…
Well… I’m a traveler myself, so whenever I share something on Google Maps I always ask myself: “Would this be useful for me while travelling?”.
This is important. I’ve found myself plenty of times in a new city or town just lost and not really knowing what to do around. You can always grab a guided tour, or go to the most touristic areas of the place that you’re visiting, but that’s just not enough for me.
You see… I believe in being a traveller, not a tourist.
I have this compulsive need to understand how do people think, feel and live in every new place that I visit.
And I’m sure I’m not the only one that thinks like this.
Human beings are very similar to one another, but our cultures are so different, they can vary so much… you can always learn new things.
It’s easy to think that your way of life is the only way of living (the TRUE way some would say), but that’s just nonsense.
I believe that every person, every city, every small corner has a story to tell. And from every story, you can always learn something.
So yeah… When I share my opinion on Google Maps it’s often about what can you find in the place that I’m reviewing (Does it has a parking lot? Are the people nice here? Is it easy to arrive?), but it goes much deeper than that.
I think the answer that every one of my reviews on Google Maps responds to is: Is this a place where I can live a new story? A story that would change my life?
