Hi, I’m Silvia and I would like to take you on a journey through the eating habits of the people in the Netherlands. Not only what they eat when they go to diner but also what candy or specialties they eat and where you can find it.

My home town is Deventer. Deventer Koek (het bijtje) is famous. It’s a small cookie which is produced here. There are many places known for their food. I hope in my role as a Google local guide to create a map so people know what the speciality is when they come to a certain province in the Netherlands.
