What being a Google Local Guide means to me.

Kaliningrad region is an exclave, and tourism has started to develop here relatively recently. Thanks to the Local Guides program, I can share my experience with people from other countries about various interesting places in our city. At the moment, I am focused on editing information about available travel modes. No matter how many wonderful places tourists find, if there is no clear and easy way to get to them, few people will be able to see these beauties of the city. Participation in the program is also interesting for me because it is a little bit challenging. I am used to using professional terminology in my lectures and scientific articles, and it can be not clear for people not related to transport area. I have to take into account that when I write about transport, I write for people who are not interested in the technical details of civil passenger traffic. They are primarily concerned with reliability, comfort, and reasonable price for the trip. In the future, I would like to be able to combine data from different GIS, as this will help to work more effectively with information about the city. Thank you for the opportunity to share my knowledge.
