Local Guid is about everything, photos, reviews, info, questions and answers, tips, solutions and many more. But you know that you are known well for or You like to contribute to one or two of them more than others.
In my case its photographs and timely and needy review.
When it comes to photographs, I like taking photographs while I travel. So I take all sorts of photos, nature, architecture, food and almost all, specially with no people in it. Then after the trip, I sit down and add photos to the Google Map as contribution, which I would have already posted in instagram and facebook and got appreciated by friends and family.
It is said a Picture is worth a 1000 words. So apart from contributing, what I really love sharing these photos is that, apart from the normal photos, some of them are
-The first ever photos to a place already added
-Finding and adding a new place and adding photos(Remote Villages, underdeveloped areas)
-Taking photos of food from a shop where you really enjoyed the food and I think they need a Good Review
-Finding a street side joint where you see an exceptionally talented cook making awesome food, Take some photos create a place for him in the map and add the photos and a review
Adding Review is another thing I love, the reviews I write varies from normal reviews that gives information and appreciation to help improve or fix things that are broken or to shape up the community

Writing detailed reviews for a place which lacks information

Writing reviews on Good service received from a firm

Writing a suggestion or advising people on how careful you should be based on a bad experience I had on a place

Suggestions to improve or to provide better service from a firm
And I believe these photos and the reviews are helping people even at the moment I am writing it. And the below screenshot is one wonderful appreciation I got from Google for my efforts with the photos
