It is not just the next burger store that I love, I also share about a boutique store, or a swimming class or anything that I know about or I have been to a particular place. This medium is one exceptional one that allows me to reach a wider audience through my reviews, photos, answers to the questions, which is helpful for the next unbeknownst person visiting that place. Writing reviews thriving of honesty also encourages the place to be better if its below quality and maintain its service if its above expectations.
I get motivation to pursue this activity when my reviews are crossing plenty of views, my photos are seen by thousands of people. When I share about a place, I ensure to include every aspect of that place ranging from ambience, rates, quality, etc. It is appreciation that makes me thrust further on this journey and has helped me reach this level on google maps.
I follow the same procedure while visiting a new place. Google maps is a concept of searching for a destination one is preparing to go and needs some answers in order to be prepared for it. I see it this way and I am sure many of us do so in a similar way.
