Why I’m proud to-be a local Guide?
I’m a frequent traveller from Mauritius, a very small island in the Indian Ocean with 1.4 million of people of different communities. Some people still think that travelling is a mystery and have to be kept as their own secret. Well that’s what happened to me the first time I travelled. I wanted to cover 3 countries on my own, without guides or paying any costly tours, but with help of some friends and people who covered these countries. Wow I was astonished as nobody could helped or adviced me of anything as I was travelling with my family. Since then I’ve started using Google maps which help me in my whole trip.
What I love sharing?
- After being familiar with Google maps, I’ve started to contribute to help travellers. For me it’s not only fun but I take it as a mission to be a local guide to contribute and help others as for me it’s the best and fastest way to plan your vacation. As a local guide I like to contribute by my photos and reviews of places I visited. I always make sure to take good notes of the places I visited, it’s surroundings, nearby places and the best route to access the location of what can help and assist any traveller.
