Am I wrong or on these stairs there is a list of all the cities that hosted the Olympic cities back in the days?

I am give some backgroup to this stairway of that footbridge.
In 2008, Bejing is hosting the very first Olympic Games in China.
Hong Kong is tasked to host the Olympic Equestrian competitions that year.
As a celebration, HK has some decors using the Olympic theme. That stairway is one of the Olympic decors that we can find today.
