what a foreigner should eat in Sao Paulo/Brazil?

Sao Paulo is a land of massive migration. From Europe, Africa, Asia. So, you will find everything you fancy.
But, there are some specialties you will find only here:
- our pizza is different, because theres is sauce (less than in Italy), but much more fillings than everywhere else.
- pao de queijo/ cheese bread: although created in another brazilian state, we have perfected it in size, portions and multiple fillings
- brigadeiro: it's a condensed milk and chocolate dessert with chocolate sprinkles that will turn your head upside down. It was invented to support a political campaing for a military man.
-Pamonha: pasty corn dish, can be sweet or salty. Wrapped on a corn leave, you will find streetcarts selling it
-pastel: deep fried pastry dish. You can miss it. Salty or sweet, very tasty and cheap. You can find it in street markts and restaurants.
- caipirinha: ok. You can have/drink it everywhere in Brazil. But since you are already here, why the heck not? Goes along with a pastel.
- caldo-de-cana: sugar cane juice. Super dooper sweet. Goes along with pastel. Usually sold on a tent side by side with a pastel tent.
Enjoy!
