West Java sambal

Eat without chilli sauce? Like something incomplete it feels. Especially in Indonesia, if you eat it you must definitely with the sauce. Almost all restaurants to street vendors will always provide sambal as a complement to cooking. Especially for Sundanese cuisine, West Java. certainly will always be dominated by fresh vegetables and also various sambal.

In West Java there are two types of chili paste, namely raw and cooked chili. For raw chili paste using raw materials such as onion, garlic, curly red chili, red chili, sugar, shrimp paste and salt. As for the cooked version, it needs to be cooked first. Before being served, both of them can be added with lemon juice to make them taste fresher

The Grinding stone! @Wisnusetiono :joy:

Nyai and Doc Dells were telling us that they quote the ‘degrees of pepper’ on the pack, that “10” is the highest.

I thought no one could eat more chilli than the Yorubas of South-Western, Nigeria

@doc_dells @Ewaade_3A , we’re talking about chili food. If the homemade chili sauce is never measured its level. for sure if it’s very spicy then it’s definitely a high level. But in Indonesia there are factory-made chili products and it reaches level 30.
