One great thing I like about Google Maps is how you can reach out and share exciting places of places I have visited. With my phone also being able to auto-capture restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, filling stations, etc, I feel that it opens up opportunities for me to share such places to the local community.
Google Maps has helped me to add newly started businesses on Google Maps and to raise awareness of such businesses to the local community. When I feel like relaxing and reflecting, I occasionally visit Google Maps and Local Guide to see the views and reviews of photos I have posted as well as reminding myself of places I have visited.
