I contemplate three distinct scenarios for which you may have the question.
- On Connect
Click on this link

Then select language & save the settings.
But be sure, the system language is also the same on your phone or desktop.
As a test, I selected German as my default language, but then chrome translated everything in English, instantly!
- If your question is related to the language setting in Maps, then on the phone you need to change the setting of the entire device.
However, on a desktop, you can select a different language for the Maps webpage through settings.
- If your question is related to reviews in Maps, again the app will use the default language of your device. Further, you will find the automatic translation of reviews to your set language.
