My post is aimed to bring to your notice my Meet-up request for 1st Aug, I made on 29th July [Weekly Grooming Session - 16 and the topics were as follows:

The meet-up has been rejected today, but I would like to bring to your kind attention the below points and request you to reconsider and help in approving the same.
CL21 Weekly Grooming Sessions is a series of sessions that are planned and conducted weekly every Saturday. The main aim of these sessions is for the overall skill development of Global Local Guides (LGs) on various topics pertaining to Google Maps and LG Connect while keeping Connect Live 2021 in focus.
We have already completed 15 consecutive meet-ups till now and this application is for the 16th Meet-up. We have certain topics that are spread across multiple weeks so any break in the meet-ups will affect the continuity and the understanding for LGs. This weekâs topic is a continuation of last week, it is about adding watermarks to photos that are uploaded to Google maps and the guidelines that are to be taken care of. Even we have a good number of LGs who are regular attendees and they will look forward to joining us this week too. 3.Since this initiative is for development of skills of Global LGs we have different LGs from different countries as well who have hosted and conducted sessions. For this weekâs session LG @RHoqueBD was to host the event but unfortunately due the adverse weather condition in his place he did not have connectivity. Since any future delay will risk the event approval before 1stAug(Saturday). @RHoqueBD had requested me to apply on his behalf. Just as a goodwill gesture for fellow LG and fully understanding his situation I did not refuse and applied on his behalf. I will also ask @RHoqueBD to add a comment to this post to acknowledge what I mentioned, request you to read his comment on this post.
Based on the above I hope you will appreciate that we continue this series without break, hence requesting you to approve 1st Aug meet-up. Also, we will take care that the actual host applies well in advance so that these kinds of unforeseen risks can be mitigated. Thank you.

I wish your meet-up will be approved soon, BTW it is better to post a meet-up well in advance, (at least five days) to make sure to have a feedback in the correct time, and to have enough time to the ones who wants to attend to RSVP.
Organising a meet-up at the very last minute, especially if it is part of a series, is never a good idea, also because I believe that @RHoqueBD had a long preparation
The Weekly Grooming Session(WGS) is organizing every Saturday from 6-7pm IST to Grooming global LGs. Upcoming Saturday on 1st August the 16th Session of WGS is going to be held and @RHoqueBD is the host.
As @RHoqueBD informed he is facing network issues due natural disasters in his localityâŚ
It is mentioned that I was the host of WGS-12 which was held on last 4th July. To continue the series I personally like to request to approve the meet-up for better interest of the regular attendees.
Thanks for your help however this time it was already heavy rain and due to technical error he had delayed however he ensured that in future this will not happen as you know itâs series of last 15 weeks itâs happening without break so request for help to get it approved as all the preparation had been done reuest kindly approve
We request you to kindly approve this meet up as this is serious since last 15weeks itâs grooming session for the benefit of LG regarding goggle map and connect post editable subject due poor network hoast @RHoqueBD request got delayed hence request you kindly approve as this had been assured by hoast this will not happen in future hence request for the same as lot of preparation had been done
In the âWeekly Grooming Sessionsâ, (we call WGS Series; we have completed 15 weekly sessions CONSICUTIVELY) which is an ongoing initiative, continued under #TeamInida, and we used to apply well in advance.
However, to give âparticipationâ in Hosting Meetups, we invite LGs from the attendees who will become the âCo-hostâ for this week and the same LG will be the âHostâ next time (this time is given to get properly trained to create the banner, Title, etc).
Our @RHoqueBD was co-host in WGS 15 (last Saturday) and is Host this Saturday. Unfortunately, after trying with poor internet, he could not apply till Wednesday; hence, on his request, our @sophie_fusion applied on his behalf.
This is the fact.
However, if your valuable time permits, request you to kindly have a look at the first part of the THIS POST - this will also provide some more information about our âMonthly Inspirational Global Meetupsâ, which we have completed up to IVM -4, and Aug 23rd will be having our IVM -5, which will be addressed by our Connect Live Attendee @Nyainurjanah (We will be applying on 2nd August for approval).
Almost around 12 LGs have been dedicating their time (Admins) to get this mission going smoothly.
Can I request the valuable help from @InaS (to avoid delay, in case KlaudiyaG is on leave) to positively look into our @sophie_fusion 's grievance, please.

THIS POST gives more details of our WGS & IVM efforts, which started in April 2020 & hope to complete it by March 2021, with support from you all.
From what you have mentioned watermarks are not something that we encourage as well as GIFs, this is probably why your meet-ups was reject due to not being related to the Local Guides program. What I can recommend is to include a line or two why you are hosting the meet-up for Local Guides and incorporate how your meet-up is related.
