Are you still waiting for the week 4 writing challenge as the part of #ConnectTurns5Challenge?
We hope you are still looking forward to this week 4 challenge.

These weekly challenges are part of a month long celebration of Connect as our amazing forum has turned 5!!
You can still take part in the previous weekly challenges. Feel free to tag other Local Guides to join in the challenges as well.

To make it easier, let me share you what the previous weekly challenges are :
Week 1 - My achievements are… #ConnectTurns5Challenge
Week 2 - What Connect means to me… #ConnectTurns5Challenge
Week 3 - Shaping Connect to be… #ConnectTurns5Challenge
And finally, we are in the week 4 challenge when we will talk about FOOD. Oh NO! :sweat_smile:

I mean about a look back to our very first Connect post :smiley:

So, what we should do?

  1. Write a new post on Connect based on your very first Connect post topic. It may be about Photography, Travel, Food & Drink, Local Stories, Meet-ups, How-tos, Idea Exchange, or Achievements.
  2. On your post, give a link to your very first Connect post including some photos that represent the post.
  3. Tell us why you chose that topic as your very first Connect post. It might be because it was your recent visit to a place or restaurant that time, you wanted to share about your favorite experience, your culture, your idea for Google Maps, Local Guides Connect and program, you asked for a local recommendations from Local Guides, and many more.
  4. You could tell us what has improved from your very first Connect post to your posts in the present. For example : my English writing skill is improving a lot, my photography and videography skills are improving as well, I could write more interesting photo caption, and many more.
  5. Feel free to use any language to participate in this challenge. Thanks to the translation widget that is provided by Google Translate, we are able to read posts in different language :slightly_smiling_face:

So, what are you waiting for? Just scrolling down your Connect profile page, find your very first Connect post, then start a post to participate in this writing challenge.

Oh no should I enter the challenge? @Velvel please don’t laugh at me :grin: , I was so new at that time and had no clue what to do. Looked back at my first post I could say wow I have grown so much. Thanks for this great community and here is my first post.
