WE LOVE TRICYCLE!❤️

A moment worth a souvenir picture of a first timer Canadian Tourist with his Filipina partner enjoying the experience of riding the traditional Filipino "vehicle for the masses* famous with colorful designs. in History, this 3-wheeled motor vehicle was built by a disabled German watchmaker by Hand named STEPHAN FAITFIER. It was called “TRICYCLE” and used during the end of WWII. They were utilized motorcycles discarded by the Japanese and were converted added with sidecars to provide passengers transportation. The “PEDICAB” in Cebuano or “PADYAK” In Tagalog are important part of our unique culture. It has been a basic mode of transportation for Filipinos going to the market, school, also used for weddings and funerals. It has become a part of our daily lives and our cultural heritage.

  • In the Philippines the “PEDICABS” are a big part of Tourism. The PEDICAB drivers also act as informal local guides offering tour and tour guide packages depending on what the tourist want to avail of. Pedicab tour packages have SPECIAL FARE based on the distance and time of the tour package availed by the tourist. For public awareness and safety BEWARE OF SCAMMERS AND OVER PRICED tour package offers. In DUMAGUETE CITY AND CITY the government regulated PEDICAB FARE is only P15.00 pesos. These are usual problems all over places that have tourist but these are controlled and monitored by the Police Authorities and the Government. Overall, THE PHILIPPINES is a very beautiful, peaceful, and rich with unique mixed culture from all the races that conquered The Philippines that makes us very interesting and different from other races. Philippines is one of the most visited countries by tourist and the Filipinos are very generous and hospitable, and very respectful people. This country is Highly recommend for tourists. :philippines:

Hello @BlossomRenee_20 , thank you for sharing  :+1:t2: . I’m sure it’s a very interesting feeling to know about three-wheeled vehicles. The photos are beautiful. Are they yours? Also, I have a few small suggestions. You can share the location of the maps of the place you shared with us here, and you can also include general photos instead of people’s photos, so that you can prevent the article from falling into the spam folder.

Thank you for your suggestions. The photos are original and taken by me. The Filipina woman in the picture is my Aunt and the Canadian is her partner. I asked for their permission to take their picture to use it for my post in my Google maps. For the location I also pinned the location where I took the picture. The location is in the bottom part of the write up. The location is CEBU CITY, Philippines. Thank you. :slightly_smiling_face:

You are most welcome, fellow LG @BlossomRenee_20 ,

Two more important points:

  1. If you don’t TAG, the other LG won’t get any “Notification” that you have responded to.

How to TAG: Simply by typing the symbol @ before the User Name of an LG (as I have done above, to you), you can send a notification (TAG) to the other member. Ex: if you need to TAG me, then type @ followed by TravellerG - then I will get a notification - for more details, click 'Here.

  1. The first photo of any post should have an “Aspect Ratio” of 16:9 (like 1920 X 1080 Pixel); this will enable your “Cover Photo” (1st Photo) to be fully seen on the LGG Connect Board.

Hope you will contact me by ‘Tagging’ if you need any further assistance.

All the best.
