"We found things to do in stormy weather"

Those lines are of course from Long May You Run by Neil Young explaining how he practiced social distancing back in 1962 in Blind River and seem to resonate with the Covid-19 situation we are all in, so I started thinking about what a Google Local Guide/Trusted Pro Photographer might do while NOT guiding in person, and with camera in mothballs.
Sadly my first task was to cancel all the reservations for my upcoming trip to the Greek Islands which was to be in May/June but maybe I might be able to slide the whole thing to September/October, Gods willing.
But then I got the idea of USING all those Google tools I use for my planned trip Multi-Apps to “reverse engineer” trips I took as a young man and this has opened up a whole NEW set of goals to tide me over the “sitting on my thumb” period and slowly going cabin fever crazy.
I am totally amazed at how these Google tools of MyMaps, SatNav, Flyover video, Street View Panoramas, Location Lists etc etc helped me remember long lost details and places effectively doing a Virtual Tour of those 50 year old memories as if it was today, BUT at the same time creating detailed guides for others like my grandkids (or anyone) to follow as virtual or REAL.
Here is the main map from the Multi-App (which I am keeping private just for now) and it shows what was called “the European Experience” for young Australians back then and took us about 4 months and (I NOW know) exactly 18,199 km.
I hope that might inspire others to do similar for their own situation
