Hello, my name is Deni Fazri, I am a student at the Faculty of Psychology Universitas Indonesia. I am someone who likes to help others and observe the environment. For me, Visiting a place will provide great benefits for others. It is indeed very simple, we only provide input or assessment of the place and add the place requesting that the place has not been updated on Google maps. Benefits that will be felt by others if we provide a place, then the assessment we provide will be a source of knowledge for those who want to visit the places we have visited and we add a place on Google maps, then we help someone to be able to find the place they are going to. That is simple, but by being and contributing to local guides, we have helped many people and even millions of people to calm down and consider where they are going.
This story is based on my previous experience, when I was carrying out community service activities, where I would serve in a remote school in the Indonesian province of Lampung, the name of the school was SDN 44 Krui. I and my other friends had quite a hard time finding the school because the school was not yet listed on Google Maps. Until finally, after I visited the school, I’m as a local guide immediately asked for the inclusion of the SDN 44 Krui school to be listed on Google Maps and Google Maps also allowed for the inclusion of the SDN 44 Krui school. To be honest, I was very happy when SDN 44 Krui was on Google maps, I was sure that the addition of SDN 44 Krui would make it easier for someone to find the school and there would be no more people like me who had difficulty finding the school address. This is what makes it interesting to be a local guide, doing simple things provides many benefits for others and we can be useful with Google Map as Local Guides.
