I am from Ukraine and I am proud of it.
I want to start with the fact that I am associated with maps not only touristly, but also professional because I am a cartographer. I see a huge amount of work looking at cards, so I like to take part in filling up the cards with useful information. That way, I try to be handy at the local level, but not to forget about the general level.Unfortunately, not many foreigners know about my country. If we look at the statistics, we could see that in 2017, 14.4 million people visited Ukraine, while New York was 13.6 million. This is a striking comparison of the city and the whole country. Therefore, my ambition is to open my area around the world through google maps. Our Local Guides Community is always happy to help new guests find the best places to visit.
