We all love El Salvador.

Lake Coatepeque was form from a huge vulcano eruption around 60,000 years B.C. The lake changes its color from the natural Blue color to a Turquoise one each certain period. Based on MARN (Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales de El Salvador) it has changed its color 6 times; in 1998, 2006, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018. Now Lake Coatepeque is one of the most attractive touristic places in El Salvador for locals and foreigners.

Sharing local touristic attractions (restaurants, lakes, beaches, parks, etc.) in El Salvador and its surroundings, is something I love to do. The reason why I’m passionate about sharing on Google Maps is because it makes me feel so good that other people know what to do or where to go based on my reviews. It gives me satisfaction knowing that, by taking sometime to provide feedback on places, provides people with a wider view of the activities they can do. When I first started as a Google Local Guide I did not know how amazing this could be and how my opinion can impact other people’s decisions. Now I feel more and more excited about this, and I will continue to do it indefinitely. It’s really cool that Google also shares with me my monthly contribution results, this motivates me to continue being a great Local Guide.
