Waves, Wind & Cloudy Weather

On the preceding Saturday, little before Sundown, I paid visit to the Indian Rocks Beach which is only at half an hour distance from my place.

Visiting the beach particularly in the evening was aimed at watching Sunset plus capturing the phenomena in my phone. Ever since I read @ermest ’s post The Feeling of Sun, I wanted to capture the gorgeousness of Dusk.

However, the weather had some Conflicting intentions. The cheeky clouds shattered my expectations entirely by stretching over. To my dismay, all I was left with Cloudy Weather, Strong Waves, Winds.

Although heavy winds were blowing my hair in every possible direction, I was determined Not to go back home empty handed, so I clicked a few shots on my phone anyway.

Indian Rocks beach is a Sunset beach covered in white sand all over. This Beach is Located on the Gulf coast of Florida.

Unlike other beaches in the neighborhood, Indian Rocks beach is barely few steps from the parking space. The parking here is absolutely free.

I remember the first time I came to Indian Rocks a couple days after Hurricane Michael, which created a strong odor everywhere around the beach, Multiple Dead fish could be seen on the shore. Its highly likely Hurricane Michael might have caused all of it.

This article shared by @Christina-NYCon how to take photos for Nature Lover’s, one of the tips mentioned was to find a good foreground.

Here’s what I found -

Since it was Cloudy weather, the beach was nearly unoccupied as opposed to on a Sunny Day, just a few people around walking around, some clicking pictures, some others were busy with the ongoing wedding decorations.

I stayed at the beach for an hour or so and tried to bag as many shots as I could.

Have you ever encountered or attended a beach wedding?

hi @ReemaGandhi

Thank you for taking inspiration from my post. I like a lot the first photo, with the sunset in the background and the clouds taking the scene on the sky.
