Hi guys!
Yesterday was the water festival or Songkran in Chiang Mai and I was very lucky to be here. Thai people were celebrating New year. Yesterday was very crazy, everybody in the streets had water guns, hoses or pools full of cold water. Nobody was saved from being wet. Of course I had my own water gun and had a lot of funny water battles with kids, adults, teenagers and other travelers. Everyone was in the mood of getting wet and wetting others. The only people saved were babies, elders and monks.
I really liked this celebration, everybody were happy and had fun in a responsible way. Everyone was very respectful with other people and the sacred character of the festival was respected.
