War Memorial and the I Love Bikaner Insignia

The War memorial and the I Love Bikaner insignia beside it in the same square are the prominent landmarks that one cannot miss upon arriving in Bikaner from Ratangargh. I took the Gurugram - Jhajjar - Pilani - Jhunjhunu- Fatehpur - Ratangarh - Dungargarh - Bikaner route to avoid any road closures due to farmers agitation.

The war memorial is right in the center of the square built inside the circle in red sandstone in the memory of the soldiers from the Bikaner state who sacrificed their lives in World War I. The names of the soldiers are carved on the stone walls of the monument.

The surrounding area is part of a huge public park with a lot of greenery and more importantly, it is located right in the middle of the city of Bikaner and barely a kilometer from the iconic Junagarh fort.

Also in the same square and in one of the corners is the I love Bikaner insignia which is a selfie-point for most young people who are in search of newer and fancier places to showcase themselves to the world.

The monument is unfortunately not accessible from any side though the insignia is right on the road so there was no problem for the differently-abled to access it.

Great post friend @TusharSuradkar . You can see in Mumbai in most of the suburbs that I Love Borivali, Kandivali etc. But out of Mumbai I have not visited such place. Thanks for sharing. It’s amazed to see such war memorial here.

Thanks for sharing this post I thought war of memorial is at Delhi was not aware it’s in Bikaner also. I love Bikaner, this is made in every city we have before juhu beach I love Mumbai. Beautiful photo.

नाही, हा मेमोरियल केवळ एक मनोरा असून बाजूला भिंत उभारून त्यावर शहीद सैनिकांची नवे कोरलेली आहेत.

I love Auraagabad असे search केले आता पोस्ट आढळून येत नाही, बहुदा title वेगळे असावे.

The war memorial in Delhi is more famous so this one in Bikaner is less known.

Also found the I Love Mumbai on Google Maps, looks nice.
