We went to Assam, India. Kairanga National Park which is famous for the above mentioned animal. We went there to take part in the safari, but could not due to some unknown reason. Instead we were received by (?). See:
@shantanu-kaizen Kozy the best!
Hello @shantanu-kaizen & @user_not_found
,
It reminds me of the zoo, back in Indonesia. Too bad I don’t have any photos from there. Is it common to see rhinoceros in your country?

@shantanu-kaizen Nice to know about Kairanga National Park
Hi@AngieYC,
Thank you for your interest. In india, generally in every zoo one may find rhinoceros. However, Kaziranga (Assam) National Park, according to a report, is the house of 2000 rhinoceros. Also you know, I think, it is called in the name of “Greater One-Horned rhinoceros and the Asian One-Horned Rhinoceros”. Its size is huge (1800kg to 2700 kg). This animal can be found in Nepal too. In terms of size, it is similar to that of Africa (white rhino). In Indonesia, Sumatra etc you may find different types in general.
Thank you once more and wish you all the best.
Thank you for the beautiful photos. BTW, please note that I have unaccepted the “solution” given by you, because your post don’t need a solution: Tip: How to mark replies as solutions — “Accept as Solution” feature
Hi@ermest,
Thank you for your comment and suggestion. This is a bit new to me. I am yet to go through the referred article.
All the best.
@shantanu-kaizen excellent post!! I would to see more elephants I particarly love those animals!!!
Hello @shantanu-kaizen,
The one horn rhinoceros is one of our pride and glory in Sumatera, Indonesia. and zoo will always be a place that’s special to me, I really love being there.
One of the place that I visited the most when I was young is a crocodile farm, in Sumatera, Indonesia. As you can see on the picture below, as time goes by there are even more crocodiles and I am still fascinated every time I visit this place.
In addition to that, I want to let you know that, I deleted the solution mark in this post. Because we only carry out ordinary discussions. We are proud for this, also we should be careful so that entire planet remains the home of all species. We should keep in our mind that homocentric behaviour of human beings has probably invited the current state of global warming and climate change.
As you are interested about crocodile, please come to Sundarban in West Bengal, where the great delta has amazing under water lives and resources. Also, Nandankanan, near Bhubaneswar in the sate of Odisha, India can offer you some attractive animals including crocodile. Odisha can offer you to enjoy Dolphin in the backwater of the sea/ lake Satapoda.
India has many attractive locations including Kaziranga, Assam for you.
Wish you all the best.
Hello @shantanu-kaizen ,
Wow, that will be super interesting!
My interest is not specific only about crocodiles, but mostly all of the animals, especially the one I’ve never seen before! But I won’t say no to dolphins.
Such a nice elephant-baby (I hope I don’t mistake)! And goats, they are funny! The photos are very interesting.
Thanks for appreciation@OlgaKlimchik.
Best.
Amazing👍🏻
