Wangedigala Mountain Srilanka🇱🇰

Wangedigala Mountain is one of the Famous Hikers Destination in Srilanka. One of the most beautiful greeny Mountain with different peaks. wangedigala Mountain is Situated in Colombo - Badulla Route Near Kalupahana Area (Black and White Bridge) there are few ways to start the hike, but Kalupahana Black and White bridge way is the easiest and fastest way. From there all the way we have to walk and hike but don’t worry the way is so beautiful there are paines Trees around. Total hike is around 2-3 hours soon after reaching the first summit we can have the best view of Srilankas Highest Waterfall which is Bambarakanda. Really breathtaking view we cannot have the view from anywhere. Then there are peaks best view come from the 2nd peak most beautiful scenery view with waterfall. If you love camping must do it because morning Sunrise is one of the best thing in this mountain Must visit this place if your a Nature lover and a Hiker. Leave only footprints :heart:

Beautiful nature and landscapes. Are you from Sri Lanka or traveling there? How high is this mountain? Do you often go hiking? What tips and advice can you share before going into the mountains? How to prepare yourself?

this wangedigala Mountain is 13th Highest Mountain in Srilanka. 2034m from Sea level. There might be leech attack and we have to carry waters and foods.

my tips for while hiking to mountains is carry a light weight bag with important items

food,water,leech socks or salt water, umbrella or raincoat , torch light and lighter or matches-box these are the most important things while hiking
