When I visited this palace, I remember being astonished by the sheer number of windows. 
I wondered why there were so many. Then one of the local guides explained to me that the palace had so many windows because, at that time, the Maharaja wanted the ladies to observe the daily activities and processions outside. 
All the ladies of the palace could view these events through the windows. Additionally, this design allowed for good air circulation, keeping the palace cool. 
Just look at the picture—who would have thought it could become a wallpaper for someone’s mobile or desktop?
