Walking tour of Split Croatia Grgur Ninski statue

The statue of Grgur Ninski or Gregory of Nin which stands 28 feet outside the Split Golden Gate. It is a tradition of travellers to run his big toe as a sign of good luck. This is a walking tour.

That toe must be very shiny @MarianGrant it is interesting how people develop the superstition and need to touch monuments and statues. It is also amazing how much wear soft human skin does to rock over time.

Drago mi je da vam se moja zemlja, Hrvatska svidjela @MarianGrant

I baš sam sretna što nosite samo lijepe i pozitivne uspomene iz Hrvatske.

Jeste li posjetili još koju destinaciju osim Splita?

Biste li ponovo došla u Hrvatsku?

Što je presudilo da dođete u Hrvatsku?

Pozdrav, Renata

Hi Renata. This stop was part of a 7 day cruise on Royal Caribbean cruise line. We also stopped in Dubrovnik Croatia. Which also was beautiful. It rained most of visit, so I don’t have really good photos from Dubrovnik.
