Walhalla Hall of fame Regensburg in Germany

In this post I am going to show you some pictures and videos from Walhalla located in Regensburg Germany, this place is very famous in the region, this place is a hall to honor Scientist, Artists and many more of the German history, It was conceived in 1807 by king Ludwig the first.

This place has a very beautiful view on the Danube River, and is famous for visitors and locals to relax and spend some time walking around the rout behind or enjoy the view in front. There are always people picnicking with the family or having a good time with friends, also very often you can see school trips visiting this place.

There are many ways to access this place, for example by car which you are able to park near the river where are dedicated parking lots just for this place. or by Bus where you Must take the number 5 Bus, which brings you approximately one kilometer away from this place. then you have to walk if you walk from the front you the road is nicer and easier to Walhalla but you arrive on the front so you have to take the stairs to the top, or you take the way throw the woods and then you arrive behind which are no stars anymore, the road than looks something like this.

Hello @KushR ,

Thank you for sharing this amazing location and beautiful photos with us. The area seems to be like the perfect place where one can have a weekend trip. As far as I can see, this place is not that far from the city, but yet far enough in order to escape its noise and stress! Am I right?

Was this your first visit to this area? What did you enjoy the most? Are there any shops or restaurants where one can have a drink or something to eat?

Thanks for the feedback, actually it was not my first visit there, as you said it’s a quiet place where one can just go for a picnic or relaxing day, some days there is too much going on because of the tourists coming, but of course, that’s always a good thing, and sometimes one can meet new people there.

it’s the perfect distance from the city center, and it’s accessible with the car or bus, as described in the post.
