New Zealand erupted out of the Pacific Ocean in a recent geological time. Waimangu Volcanic Valley is an evidence of this volcanic diffuse activity.
Here you can see boiling lakes and sulphur-coloured earth, surrounded by fern trees and jungle-like bush.
