I had the privilege of visiting Wageshwar Temple on my birthday, 11th January, accompanied by my friend @ShubhamWaman . It turned out to be a soul-refreshing experience, making my special day even more memorable.

Wageshwar Temple is located in the Charholi Budruk area of Pune, offering a serene escape within city limits. Nestled amidst lush greenery and adjacent to a calm, reflective water body, the temple is a perfect blend of heritage, spirituality, and natural beauty.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and houses a sacred Shiva Lingam at its core. The architecture reflects traditional Hindu temple designs, complete with intricate carvings and a serene pond that adds to the tranquility. Parking: Limited parking is available near the temple. It’s advisable to visit early in the day to secure a spot.
Wheelchair Accessibility: The entrance has steps, so wheelchair accessibility may be challenging without assistance.
Cleanliness: The temple premises are well-maintained and clean, contributing to a serene environment.

We found the calmness and divine aura perfect for reflection and prayer. The chants of “Om Namah Shivaya” in the background create an immersive spiritual ambiance.
