I have started planning my vacation for 2023.
My idea is to return to New York to finish discovering the places that were pending in 2021.
That’s why I wanted to ask the help of the Local Guides who live there, or those who know the City well, so they can share information about the must-see sites in the Big Apple.
Hey @user_not_found , there’s no shortage of things to discover in and around NYC. The subway network is pretty vast and connects to get you to all 5 boroughs.
I spent my summers in Brooklyn when I was younger, and revisited to see family a few years ago. A great day(ish) trip is to take the train out to Coney Island and work your way back North.
Coney Island has a beach, boardwalk, an aquarium, Luna Park amusement park, Coney Art Walls , and the Famous Nathan’s Hotdog’s.
Heading back towards the city on the Q train, there’s Prospect Park, which has a zoo and botanical gardens. I also recommend the Brooklyn Museum just at the north end of the park.
If you’ve got any energy left, pick the train to the DUMBO neighborhood and walk back over the Brooklyn Bridge.
