What does the Local Guides program mean to me:
World map is larger than anything and it is not possible to rectify or monitor everything by a group of people only. It is very intelligent & interesting steps by Google to initiate and create a huge community in the form of Local Guides where any individual may contribute their effort to enrich the perfection of actual map/location/product/activities by sharing their views/reviews & photos etc. they shall voluntary help people to travel batter in an unknown place or make some one more knowledgeable for a known place too. At the same time it is a continue process to make the information updated and useful.
