To get a stunning view of this Volcano, As is these are the hours.
6am - 7:40am when the sun has not risen. This will be the only way to get the best views.
6:45pm - 7: 45pm at the peak of sunset. After these hours it will be almost impossible to get this stunning view. Unless the day is clear, non cloudy etc. So be ready to get up super early in order to take these outstanding photos.
The views are astonishing. The fog, volcano covered in snow, fumes of black smoke erupting, It’s just breathtaking.

Reading your post, looks like everything is planned in advance. Did you go there on your own, or you were with a tour guide?
Did you go closer to the volcano region? Do you know when is the perfect time of the year to visit this part of the world?
Are there any restaurants close to this area, where one can have something to eat and drink?

Yes, the timing was planned as there is a certain time limit when one can capture The Volcano at its best. No, I don’t need didn’t need a tour Guide, I’m not a Tourist.
visit Cholula, Puebla Mexico anytime time of the year. Or Research the city.
