Nima is one of the biggest and most impoverished areas in Accra, Ghana. Even though Nima routinely suffers from inadequate provisions of basic facilities, the community continues to grow without hindrance. Large number of migrant workers from all walks of life in Ghana and its neighboring countries find their way into the community and make it their home and place of business. The beauty of Nima can be visible and appreciated in both their cultural and religious diversity of the community. Nima is an example that shows, people of different nationalities, religions, ethnical groups and way of life can actually co-exist in peace. You can experience this and much more by walking through the community preferably starting with its market which is one of the largest markets in west Africa. Then moving down to the community it self. But when it comes to accessibility you would have to walk as the place is mostly crowded and there is no place for parking and also for wheel chairs. They also have the best spots for waakye in all of Accra-Ghana
