Healesville Sanctuary, formally known as the Sir Colin MacKenzie Sanctuary, is a zoo specialising in native Australian animals. It is located at Healesville in Victoria, Australia. Located about 1 an hour from Melbourne CBD.
Healesville Sanctuary provides animal lovers of all ages with a close-up experience with iconic Australian animals in their natural habitats.
During my visit, I was able to catch The Spirits of the Sky shoe to experience the natural behaviours of a variety of native birds which may include the Wedge-tailed Eagle, Black-breasted Buzzard, Barking Owl, and more.
