Malaysian love Japanese culture, from food, celebrations, attractions and more. Not very long ago, a premium Japanese focused mall opened in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, in Bukit Bintang, the shopping district. They named it Lalaport (Google Maps location: https://goo.gl/maps/KA7463H2VEbzoQ4r7). This is the company as the one located in Tokyo bay.
Recently, the mall has set up a Japanese street to share even more Japanese culture.
[Picture below] - A backdrop of a traditional Japanese tatami house. Adorned with decorative rocks and green trees. I wouldn’t mind staying in these kind of houses for sure. Very nature inspired.
[Picture below] - Lots of cherry blossoms. We are just coming into winter, and everyone looks forward to spring. Celebrating a new birth, a new life.
[Picture below] - Beautiful decorative lanterns and cultural umbrellas. Feels like stepping into a real Japanese street in Japan.
[Picture below] - As we wait for spring, how about a quick stroll through a bamboo forest. Hear the peaceful rustling of the wind.
[Picture below] - During winter, buckets of Sake keeps us warm. One of Japan’s most celebrated drink and spirit.
[Picture below] - I took a photos of this. Not sure what this is, so if any of our Japanese friends can comment on what these “dolls” are.
