Hi, I have noticed recently that the visited filter on google map is now not available anymore on my ios device. I usually click on that filter to look for the places I would like to try that I have never visited before. Is it a temporary thing or it’s gone permanently?
@MortenCopenhagen thank you for your response!
Here is an example of a problem I am facing now. When I try to find a new cafe that I have never been to, I open google map ios app and type “cafe” and click on that “haven’t visited” filter that was used to be on the filter section. May I know how can I do this now since I do not see the filter anymore?
Sorry, I thought you were looking for a list of places you had already visited.
I don’t see the “Haven’t visited” filter on Android eighter.
All the best
Morten
That’s the filter I used the most since I am always looking for new places. I think the last time I saw that was like 10days ago. I hope they will bring it back.
@MortenCopenhagen it came back (sort of…)
Now, if you click on the list of selections on the top of the screen like “Restaurants” or “Coffee”, it shows “Visited” and “Haven’t Visited” filter. However, if you just type the same exact word “Restaurants” or “Coffee”, now it does not show the filter. Therefore if the thing you are looking for is not in one of the top selections, you are still not able to use the filter.
You can see in this GIF below:
This is an improvement, but I wanna be able to filter more words like “cafe” and it was all possible a few months ago.
update: the filter is gone again…
