Visit to the local fruit market (Ghana)

Life is opening up here and we are delighted about it. I visited the local fruit market and its booming with fruits. I got some of these as well myself. Although it doesn’t look organised or tidy it’s very practical and accessible to the local public. It’s just a few minutes from house. Its6was nice to be able to visit and purchase again as before the epidemic.

Although some are foreign fruits like the apples as seen in the pictures most of them are cultivated locally here in Ghana and there are very nice. It’s quite cheap and affordable as well.

I can see a lot of colorful and delicious fruits in the second photo of this post @SholaIB Some fruits seem common in our country also. In our market also a lot of fruits are found now. You have seen some of them in my meet-up Virtual taste of summer fruits. Thanks for sharing the amazing post.

Hey @Wei929

Thank you for your compliments. I have been living in that area for a some months now but had to stop going to the market as a result of the pandemic.

It’s my first time to be there again this time since the lockdown was eased up.

Hello @Wisnusetiono

Sorry for late reply my friend. Work is getting very busy now :slightly_smiling_face:

That fruit you circle is called water melon . It’s red inside and very sweet and juicy. It has some brown flat seeds inside. It’s very hygienic and nutritious. It’s very good for patients suffering from prostate cancer.

It’s very cheap and nice. Do you have that in Indonesia?

Thanks

Hope to be back to Nigeria as soon as travelling is safe sometime later in the year.
