Visit to TASC Tulip Farm - Niagara-on-the-Lake

Hello Guides,

I hope you are all well!

Today I want to share an incredible experience we had this May.

Despite the coldest May since 1967 here in Canada, the Tulips managed to show their beautiful colors and shapes, and bring joy to everyone, showing how beautiful nature and flower fields are.

We visited TASC Tulip Pick Farm (https://maps.app.goo.gl/5UxNtGJi64PU98mM6 ), a beautiful Tulip farm, located in Niagra-on-the-Lake. The farm is on a road with several wineries and breweries, and is very close to the lake and downtown Niagra-on-the-Lake, so it is a full-day tour, where you can plan an itinerary.

You can visit by purchasing tickets :tickets:, which can be done online, or at the entrance. However, I recommend buying tickets online to guarantee your entry at a scheduled time, and avoiding the lines that happen (especially on weekends). A tip: if you can, visit during the week, as it is much quieter.

Each ticket entitles you to collect 10 tulips, and at the entrance to the farm, the staff will guide you on how to pick the flowers from the ground. In addition, as you walk through the flower beds, you will see signs with instructions on how to properly harvest them.

The farms are generally open from the last week of April to the second or third week of May, depending on how the flowers are blooming.

The tour is beautiful, and what made me even happier is that it is very accessible :wheelchair_symbol::

  • Parking with a reserved area for people with disabilities, and it is just a few meters from the entrance to the farm;

  • Chemical toilets with access suitable for walkers, wheelchairs and canes;

  • Food trucks with staff ready to guide visually impaired customers about the menu;

  • Flower beds with adequate space for all visitors to enter and photo points, with an accessible height for all visitors.

  • Flat ground for use with wheelchairs, walkers and canes.

The tour is great, and an experience that only happens in spring.

Here is my review, so that you can learn a little more about the space.

@MerlinThomas Yes, it is an inspiring and beautiful place.
Niagra-on-the-Lake has a tulip farm tour from the last week of April until about the second week of May. All the farms cost about the same to visit, around 30 Canadian dollars.

@Gouri.PS Thank you

@MohammadPalash I’m fine, my friend.
Hoping for warmer days to come… I don’t like extremely hot days, but I have to admit that the cold has been irritating me quite a bit hahaha.

@JordanBurleson Tulips are pretty flowers. So we cook for a little more than a week, changing the water every 2 to 3 days, and allowing it to hit sunlight, but in a way that does not overwhelm it.

Wow, what a colorful and peaceful experience!
Your visit to the tulip farm looks like a dream — vibrant rows of tulips, open skies, and joyful moments.
Thank you for sharing this breath of fresh air with us!

I could almost smell the scent of flowers through your photos.
Here in Türkiye, especially in Istanbul, tulips also have a deep cultural meaning — so seeing them bloom around the world feels extra special.

Wishing you many more beautiful journeys like this!

Warm greetings from Türkiye!

Thanks for sharing the accessibility information as well.

@Velvel The tulip field can be visited for 1 hour and can be spent in about 10 minutes. Since the idea is to take photos and pick the flowers, it doesn’t take long to get there.
