Visit to Rock cut Temple in Undavalli

Hi Local Guides,

Recently I visited Rock cut Temple in Undavalli and I want to share with you brief details about the cave and photos taken during the visit. It is monolithic rock cut architecture situated in Undavalli near Vijayawada. It is

four storeyed rock cut temple and believed to be constructed between 6th - 7th century AD. These caves are dedicated to Anantha Padhmanabha and Lord Narasimha. Buddhist monks used these as rest houses.

Good place to visit when you are travelling next time to Vijayawada which is in Andhra Pradesh state of India.
