Contrary to recent reports in the last quarter of 2019 that the Victoria Falls were drying up here is a picture I took of the attraction at the beginning of March from above the Victoria Falls Bridge. The falls go through seasonal fluctuations with lots of dry patches during the period of September to early December. The highest flows over the falls are witnessed between March and May each year. Plan your visits depending with what interests you most, you will not be disappointed.
Besides the Victoria Falls themselves there are several breath taking scenery along and around the the Zambezi River. Here is a photograph of the boiling pot, a very large while pool of water which forms as the waters leave the falls into the first gorge that goes under the bridge.
