Visit India' first ever Interactive Bird Park - Essel World Bird Park Mumbai

This is India’ first ever Interactive Bird Park.

Bird park is open since about one and half to two years, but they started promoting the place from April 2019 itself . They did so as they wanted the international birds to get used to this habitat and also getting used to humans coming and seeing them.

The Bird Park is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

This is how Bird Park travel is:

  1. Ferry from Gorai Jetty to main Essel World Gate
  2. Train from Essel World to Water Kingdom
  3. Bus from Water Kingdom to Bird Park.

Ferry ticket charges are Rs 50/-

The bird park entry fees is Rs 390/-

No food, no water, no medicine allowed inside the Bird Park

Extra charges to b

e paid for DSLR camera Rs 250/-

Inside the bird park, there is no food available nor wash rooms.

There are in total 5 activities inside the Bird Park:

  1. Creating Bird Enrichment at Woodpecker Stadium at 1:00 pm
  2. Bird Feeding at Mini Aviary at 3:00 pm (paid)
  3. Know your Feather Friends – Interactive Session at Woodpecker Stadium at 4:00 pm
  4. Photo with Feather Friends at Woodpecker Stadium 4:30 pm at (paid)
  5. Activities in Shopping Nest (mostly full day) (paid)

Essel word Mumbai has come up with India’ first ever interactive bird park which has more than 50 species of bird and in total more than 500 birds.

Bird park is open since about one and half to two years, but they started promoting the place from April 2019 itself. They did so as they wanted the international birds to get used to this habitat and also getting used to humans coming and seeing them.

Although the park is very small (approximately spread over 1.5 acres of land), merely to roam around the park will hardly take an hour or two, but there are certain activities here, which if one plans to attend, then one can easily spend 5 to 6 hours in the park. Also photography enthusiasts people will also take more time inside the park to click the feather friends on camera.

The Bird Park is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
