Hello friends, Many of you may not be aware of the fact that April is the month of the beginning of the calendar year in many countries. April 13- 15, in particular, is the time when countries in South and Southeast Asia celebrate their New Year. As a part of our solidarity, Bangladesh Local Guides will host a virtual meetup to mark the New Year celebration in these 12 countries. To know more about this celebration click on the link below https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Year#April Every year Bangladesh Local Guides organize some sort of celebration to mark the day, but due to COVID - 19 pandemic lockdown this year we are unable to do any outdoor event now. Instead, we chose to arrange a virtual meetup with all the local guides, from the country and other Local Guides from across the borers. Join us on April 14, at 9:00 PM [ GMT 6+ ] to b a part of our celebration. We encourage people to wear their local/ traditional outfit for this meetup to showcase your culture to the world. @MahabubMunna , Thank you for arranging this meetup It was nice to see a lot of fellow local guides during our traditional new year festival time. Also had the pleasure of seeing a few of LG legends on live.
