Since the introduction of the virtual meet-ups, Local Guides have been hosting more and more of them to connect with each other. Now that Google Meet is free for everyone, you can host meet-ups with even more participants.
This week, we rounded up some of the best upcoming virtual events to celebrate the great meet-up ideas and initiatives Local Guides are hosting around the world. If you’re interested in attending one of the meet-ups, you can RSVP directly on the page, but please only do so if you’re attending.

September 17, “#StateChallenge New York”
This week’s #StateChallenge will be about the Big Apple, New York City. If you are interested in learning more about this spectacular city, join @Kwiksatik , @Denise_Barlock , and co-host @PennyChristie , who will share their experiences with you. September 19, “Virtual Meet: Harmony Local Guides AI”

Zero Waste is a movement that aims to reduce consumption and encourage the reuse of materials so that nothing is thrown away. September 26, “How to: Collaborative Meet-Ups”
We see more and more collaborative meet-ups every week. @Kwiksatik has more than 15 co-hosted meet-ups under her belt, and this time she wants to share some of her tips on how to coordinate collaborative events for Local Guides.
