Since the introduction of the virtual meet-ups, Local Guides have been hosting more and more of them to connect with each other. Now that Google Meet is free for everyone, you can host meet-ups with even more participants.
This week, we rounded up some of the best upcoming virtual events to celebrate the great meet-up ideas and initiatives Local Guides are hosting around the world. If you’re interested in attending one of the meet-ups, you can RSVP directly on the page, but please only do so if you’re attending.

July 30, “World Friendship Day Meet-up”
For International Friendship Day, @RtnArulPrakasamT is organizing a fun virtual meet-up. Local Guides from around the world are invited to celebrate the friendships that they have made through the program and share some fantastic memories with the rest of the attendees. July 31, “Four Years Of Connect”

August 1, “Lists for Google Maps Talk”
After their successful Google My Business meet-up, @KarenVChin and @Kwiksatik are teaming up once again to host another great event, which will focus on Google Maps lists. August 1, “#StateChallenge Missouri”
@Kwiksatik and @Denise_Barlock continue theirchallenge, where Local Guides have the chance to learn something curious about the different American states. August 2, “Pueblos Mágicos 2da. Edición”
#TeamTacos are back with part two of Magical Towns to visit in Mexico. For her meet-up debut, @Bere_Marichi teams up with @Janis_delaluz , @nelly_morales , and @Lucio_Brian_Santia .
