Since the introduction of the virtual meet-ups, Local Guides have been hosting more and more of them to connect with each other. Now that Google Meet is free for everyone, you can host meet-ups with even more participants.
This week, we rounded up some of the best upcoming virtual events to celebrate the great meet-up ideas and initiatives Local Guides are hosting around the world. If you’re interested in attending one of the meet-ups, you can RSVP directly on the page, but please only do so if you’re attending.

July 25, “Melaka Guided Virtual Tour”
@StephenAbraham invites you to another virtual tour where you will have the opportunity to discover the city ofMelaka in Malaysia. He will show you museums, markets, temples, and more interesting sites. If you want to join him, make sure to RSVP here.
July 25, “Foodie Local Guides Talk Part 3”

July 25, “AFRICA VIRTUAL MEET-UP 4.0”
It’s time for the fourth edition of the African virtual meet-up, which aims to bring Local Guides from across the continent together and offer support to the different communities. July 25, “Arizona #StateChallenge Meet-up and Trivia Quiz”
Another week, another challenge! Have you already taken part in @Denise_Barlock and @Kwiksatik ’s#StateChallenge? They created it to share the beauty and curiosities of their country, USA, with Local Guides in a fun way. This week’s state of focus is Arizona. July 25, “Recorriendo ARG: Patagónia”
The Local Guides from Argentina welcome Spanish-speakers to their latest meet-up, which is part of the “Recorriendo Argentina: ¡5 meet-ups!”series. July 26, “Women in the World: Let’s Guide! #2”
@SarahKa is hosting another meet-up to bring female-identifying Local Guides together. Women around the world are invited to talk about how transportation information on Google Maps helps them get around and what they as Local Guides can do to support other women. July 26, “Pueblos Mágicos de México”
